I know, but it is the "name" that most people want. I would never get one personally. For that amount, I would have gotten a rip roaring HP, but again gift receivers can't be choosy.

I am posting to tell you that I am neither the buyer nor reciever of this product. My mother bought it for everyone. She updated from a Compaq Presario running Windows 98/Me. This lovely rig does have some disadvantages. One being the monitor's inability to achieve higher than 75 hertz flicker rates at any resolution. It does have 1920x1080p60 which, by the way, makes Call of Duty beautiful. It also holds steadily 333 Fps with Extra, Extra, Trilinear, Everything, Nicest, Maximum. The eMachines monitor from my father's house displays 100 & 111 hertz flicker rates at 800x600 resolution and 125 hertz flicker rate at 640x480 resolution. I like gaming better with HD.
