Clan name change AM or Ownt

Hey guys ive been talking to Morris for quite some time now about changing our name and he accepted the request. Now its up to you guys to decide between AM or Ownt. Incase some of our newer players dont know, the Allied Mercenaries was the oldest clan on CoD1. It died not too long ago because if a big clan split and the clan disappeared a few months ago. I was a member of AM for 3 years and it was a very respectable clan. The reason I brought this up is because my old leader and good friend of AM has been gone for 4 months without making contact with any of us. Thats very unusual of him to do and we believe something bad might have happened to him due to his stroke this summer. Sarge_E was a great leader and always had any of his members back in any kind of tough decision. In memory of Sarge and my old AM clan and clan mates id like to support the idea of bringing back the old Allied Mercenaries.

When I Joined I Joined OWNT if we change it to AM I will leave... so.. its your guys choice..

Youd leave just because of a name change? The name is like a cover of a book. Its whats inside that matters. Everything inside is still the same.

Me and the name AM have History.... stuff I'm not going to drag up or talk about..... But lets say for the ease of it... its not a tag I would ever where again...

This is a completely different AM with the same name. The internals of the clan are made up of us not the old people.

o wow didnt know big sarge E had stroke that sucks. AM would be good to go back to.

I'm staying neutral here seeing that I am Ret. And usually only post on politics. Although I agree it would be a nice thing to do in memory of Sarge I see where vixen stands IF he had a falling out with AM and doesn't want to ever be associated with it or it's name again. Whatever you guys decide- Vixen pays the bills so keep that in mind when talking of any changes.

Scroob text me, this is a bad bad idea...

This is totally unfair, this isn't about a name change it's about why we vote to change the name.
I never had a history with AM, I don't care about it...we shouldn't change our name just because you want to honor you're old leader...
If I were to change the name to C2A for some reason because the clan would've died, nobody would care...so I am totally against the process of name changing.

i hope i dont get scolded 4 this bcuz im not in ownt but...as scroob said the clan isnt changing its a name...how can you say changing a name through honor isnt a reason,that seems like the best reason ever to change a clans name...you guys are the clan not you name so what does it matter what your called...im sorry i know im not part of this

i see what ur coming at dude, but as Morris said Vixen pays the bills so i believe its up to him.

After much discussion we have opted not to change the name at this time...
