black sides on screen

when i play cod i have black sides how do i get rid of them and yes i have windows 7 i fixed on another comp with vista can't figure it out with windows 7

Type these commands in your console (at menu):

/r_customwidth 1600 (or whatever your resolution width is)

/r_customheight 900 (or whatever your resolution height is)

/r_mode -1

Then quit and when you open up CoD again, it'll be fullscreen and without those black bars.

I have to do the same thing actually, I alter some cfgs and erased my settings..lol so ive got like 3 inches of blackness to either side and like 1 1/2 in to the bottom and top
