My cod wont work anymore because it says some thing about "CoDMP.exe has stopped working" so until i figure out a solution i wont be playing for a long time.

maybe you can be more specific with what it says. Maybe one of us can help you

I think it's the server cache problem....delte your serverchache in your cod foler.

I uninstalled it tonight then reinstalled it and it didnt work.

^ What Dark said. Go under program files > Call of Duty Game of the Year > Right click servercatch and delete it to your recycle bin. Should fix your problem :]

i did but it didnt do anything.or do i have to uninstall then reinstall again?

Just a side note we should sticky some really common things like this so its abit easier. then again it should be in the tech help forum but oh well

Same thing happened to me. I finally might be able to get back on. Havent played in like 300 days. Thx for posting this.

1.
clean out all of the custom stuff in your cod folder.
delete servercache.
2. (if 1 doesnt work)
do a complete uninstall. (check vix's thread on how to)
install again.

tell me if this doesnt work.

also its just a common windows program error right?

im not sure, but i did step 1 when this all started and i uhinstalled then reinstalled it but doesnt seem to want work it does the same thing

I have the same problem. I've just been running as admin for the past few months...

Right click the CoD icon and run as administrator.

Well thanks to you Rom im finally back on CoD!
Even though it still says the "CoDMP.exe has stopped working" thing i can play on as admin though.

i had something wrong like this awhile ago back when i was in the clan AM (some of you might no it) the ldr there, Cap, led me through something that went through my registry and deleted certain things. Sadly i dont remember wat, but it might lead you on the right path

if you're going to delete things from the registry files you may as well uninstall the game and then delete the entire folder in the registry editor if it's still lingering around, and then re-install the game lol

Yeah, but its not really a fix...And in my case it will randomly crash when you are running as admin.
