2013 Clan and Forum Updates

Hello Ownt Members!

You may or may not have noticed, but there have been quite a few updates cooking for the past month or so.
The other administrators and myself have decided for a change and we have started the conversion today.

1. First of all, the top forum banner has been changed.


2. We are getting rid of the current accolades/awards and will be replacing them with these.














3. The old military ranks have been replaced.
Since we are no longer specifically only a Call of Duty clan, there is no sense in keeping military ranks.
Therefore, we have converted the ranks to badges with certain levels shown by the amount of stars.

In case anyone is curious, here are all the ranks possible.

Leader


Co-Leader Hound Dog (Cap'n)


Senior Administrator


Senior Administrator Tech Guru (Rune)


Administrator


Senior Member


Member


Recruit


Inactive


Registered User/Guest


Banned


4. Promotions.
The way the ranks will be assigned from now on is according to loyalty and activity both on the forums and on our game servers.
Each star represents 3 months of active membership without leave.
If a member leaves and returns some time later, it will be up to the Board of Review as to which rank will be assigned.
When every star is filled up to Senior Member, the member in question is added to the list of possible server/forum administrators.


There are additional minor updates, changes, and tweaks coming soon!

Going through the forums, you will notice that many members still don't have their rank updated.
I have only updated the most active for now. Once they post on this thread, I will calculate and update everyone else's rank.

If members don't post in this thread, they will be labeled as 'Inactive' and eventually removed from the roster.

I am alive! Thanks rom for the message on facebook. I am sorry that I was gone for a long time but I don't have COD 1 on my pc :/ I'll try to get a game where I can play with all of you..and i'll post more often on the forums if you let me come back of course lol

Just keep posting in the Roll Call every month and you should be fine. You're not required to have the game(s) to hang out with us on the forums.

I've updated your rank and accolades to the new system. Let me know if I've missed anything.
