Binds???

Could someone tell me how to set a bind? Thanks.

-press the tilde key (~)
-type: /bind (key) (command)
for example /bind g say "lol" or /bind p name "ChuckNorris"

press the key and it should do the function, lemme know how it goes

Wouldn't that work also in single player? Say i want to close my HUD with the Toggle cg_draw2d command. But i have to go through the console and type it there.

lol binds are very annoying...
