Head's Up...

My parents have just informed me that they will finally getting the laptop I wanted! At one sad condition, being that I only use it for schoolwork...

I understand not why they won't allow me to play games on my computer, as I have been for like... 3 years... but whatever. I took the offer, gladly, because I really do need a new computer...

It will be arriving sometime next week, at which time I will set everything up, and get rid of this piece of crap. This means that I wont have Xfire, CoD, nothing. I will be gone for good.

I apologize for the hassle, as I know I must have been a pain in the back cheeks by joining and leaving in such a short period of time, but I assure that when I applied for Ownt, I had no idea that my parents were going to get me a laptop...

So this is sort of my resignation, although I will still play CoD as much as I possibly can these next few days, knowing that I probably will not ever be playing it again... *sniffle* lol.

Goodbye Ownt, goodbye CoD 1.3... R.I.P. SGC ... I will remember the times, good and bad... for I have put 3 years of my life into online gaming and communities (as sad as that sounds, I am not being so literal).

At the same time, I am kind of glad about this sudden change, I don't need to be spending the time I do on the computer, it's like a bad habit. Call of Duty is a seven-year-old game.. and is dying out. Many of the friends I once had playing the game, are now gone. But there isn't a day that will pass by after next week, I don't stop to think about sitting down, and owning it up beside you guys (when I say guys I mean whoever I actually played with).

So this I guess is goodbye, other than seeing you in-game during the next few days...
Again I apologize for any troubles I have caused within Ownt, as I know I am being a pain as by joining and leaving so suddenly...

I may and hope to return someday... but probably only to look at the 1.3 server list and weep, of the cold emptiness, that is the death of Call of Duty multiplayer... knowing that the rest of you will move on when it is finally over, when nobody plays the game.

I am finished now, this is my farewell, I only wish that I could share a last goodbye with those who had already left... I hope that my name will be remembered and spoken in future conversation...

Hmm... I might just try to sneak xfire... but yeah, my father said that he would check every now and then, to see if I was playing on my 'pooter.

I at least wont risk losing it for a few weeks, I'll try and put the good ole' Baney charm on 'em... Hell, if it works, I'll practically run back to CoD and Ownt.

I mean my parents aren't here for an hour of the day I am home, but I don't think I'll go behind their backs and probably get caught..

You have me...a computer genius...you can hide things like that....along with "other things" if you know what I mean LOL

There are ways of hiding folders and making them invisible. Try YouTube. People have made vids on it.

Good luck Bane. As a parent, don't try to hide things. Will not lead to anything good. Take care and maybe they will change their minds. Get good grades and such and maybe they will let you come back.

Do you have to get rid of the old one? Maybe keep that one for games?

Okay wow, as I just finished reading the replies, I am glad to say that I in fact wont be leaving at all... LOL.

I had gotten my progress report was given out today, straight A's, lowest being a 94 in Science.

So I talked them into letting me keep this one, and like Smash said just using my laptop for school stuff!!!

I didnt know it would be that easy, and now Im mad that I took 10 minutes to type all that crud for NUTHINNNN.

Anyways, no troubles I guess, Im still a Rct... for now, heh.
