A Signature within A Signature

PLEEEEEAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEE!


all i want to know... is how to make a signature.
but wait, dont reply yet.
this isnt any signature.
this a signature within a signature.

every artist marks his work.

i mark mine, you should see my drawings.
i work with gimp as well, idk if thats how you made it,
but i see you put ur sig in every signature you make(such as ones for other people)
id just like to know how or what you use to create that.

i already love you as it is, this would just make me want to
marry you. hahahaha[no homo]

P.S. im assuming that i had posted that in the wrong forum topic.
forgive me. i would appreciate any help

1. get a white piece of printer paper.
2. using a black pen/dark pencil, scribble your signature on it a few times, leaving some space in between signatures.
3. scan the paper.
4. open up the scanned photo in GIMP/Photoshop.
5. select the signature that you like most and cut it out. (cut out the white around it)
6. select the magic wand tool and click on all the white areas, go to Select>Invert.
7. go to Select>Feather and feather it around, oh, 1 to 2 pixels.
8. Copy the selection, open a new canvas just big enough to fit your signature, and paste it in a new layer.

-Photoshop: After pasting the selection to a new layer, simply delete the background layer.
-GIMP: After pasting the selection to a new layer, right click that layer and add alpha channel. Delete the background layer if need be.
(What we're trying to do is to see the checker board in the background, meaning transparency)
10. File>Save As and save it as a .PNG (if you save it as anything else you will have a nasty white background to deal with.
