The Crazies

So the movie "The Crazies" is epic. If you liked the movies Qurantine or The Mist you will like this one. The difference between this one and Quarantine is not only the location, but the fact it's not a documentary like Quarantine. The similiarites are that a toxin has entered a small rural farming town in Iowa and it basically turns the people into zombies essentially, except that these zombies won't bite you to convert you into a zombie, the residents only have to drink water, and they are able to use weapons and essentially think for themselves to an extent.

Plot- You don't start to understand how this happened until the middle/end of the movie, but what happens is their is a plane crash that happens to be carrying a biological weapon and it infects this towns drinking supply. Whenever someone drinks the contaminated water they essentially go crazy within 48 hours. After 3 people get infected the military shows up and quarantines the town, but it doesnt go exactly to plan, all the civilians that were penned up get out and start taking over the town once again.

In my opinion this was an excellent movie.

also note that, don't let children see this movie..it has extremely strong language and is extremely gorey which is why its rated R

Crazies was an EXCELLENT movie, although not really that scary for a horror movie...
Amazing story, awesome effects, just cool idea in general

But, I hated quarantine, that movie sucked =/

Yes, quarantine wasnt that great due to the fact it was a documentary type film, also the crazies isnt really a horror film its more along the lines of suspense thriller

Nah, quarantine was trying to copy cloverfield, but failed extensively
The reporter lady got annoying in the first 5 mins of the movie

And i guess its a "suspense thriller", lol, still not scary tho

well yeah, everyone knows it was trying to copy cloverfield, hence the documentary type movie XD

Yeah, Cloverfield was one of the worst movies I have ever seen...and they say they're gonna make another one? I wonder how that will come out...

I'll try to watch The Crazies when I have time.
