COD Problem

O i got new comp and installed comp.
When i run it it goes black screen, says i ahve a buffer overun error. It shuts cod down. This happens with MP and SP.
Any ideas?

I never had this problem before.. So If I could help, I would did you try reinstalling again though?

I've done a complete reinstall and no dice.
And there is no server cache to delete, i don't get that far.

Are you using a Nvidia card? If so, what version is your software for it?

Run as Administrator

and/or

Plug in a mic. (some sound cards are weird like that, especially if it's the HP Elite you were drooling over) you just need the tip of it or the adapter, not the actual mic.

i had the same problem with my card the latest driver wouldnt work so you would have to roll back the driver which i assume is what rune wouldve posted next if you have an nvidia card
