PS Error

When I am rendering I get an error like this:
Could not complete request because the smart object is not directly editable.
This is after I finish pen tooling and want to delete the inverse. Happens when I hit delete.

Help plz?

You're probably clicking something extra..

When I am rendering, I use the pen tool and go around all the way, then at the end I connect the 2 ends.

I then right click it, select "Make a Selection" and then proceed to choose the amount of feathering I want (different for each picture depending on size/quality).

Next, I Copy then Paste it into a new canvas.

Don't bother deleting the inverse... waste of time...

I was rendering in canvas I was using :O
