Resignation

Hello All,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I am leaving; I find that I don’t have the time to put into running the clan anymore due to life changes. I have also found the same with my gaming. I will still be around on the forums and in game. However I am giving up all my administration positions.

I will be maintaining the vent server for personal reasons, which you can all use. However after this month, I will not be keeping up the servers. Whoever takes over can decide if they want to keep them up or shut them down same with the WEB url which is paid up for the year.

I am hoping that Cap’n will be willing to step up and take over the operation of the clan, if he does not want to then we will need someone to take over.

In closing, I want to thank you all for all you have done for making Ownt what it has become. We have had great times and lots of memories.

I will maintain my positions on the forums till the end of the month or sooner if things are finalized.

Sorry to see this end, but it was inevitable in the long run.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
Together, we have maintained a clan and made a professional-looking website.
It has lasted a good 3-4 years and I'm happy to have been a part of it.
I'll stick with Ownt until the payments end.

We can keep in touch on Facebook or via text.
Also, don't forget to invite me to play CoD or any other game together.

Right now Cap'n is deciding if he is going to be able to take over or not. He has also requested my help if he does (is everyone ok with this?). Right now we are both trying to decide on what direction the clan would go in, we both want to leave CoD Classic, we've both though on moving to MW3 but this is not official yet. Let me know your thoughts on this.

I think that would be awesome Rune. I will still be around and can help where I can.

Yes Vix has asked me to take over the clan , and it is something that i am really thinking about (which i am very honored to consider) ( that i was asked lol ). I am sooo sorry to see you go Vix we have known each other for a very long time, and i thank Rune for introducing us, You are a very true and good friend but i also know LIFE calls and you better keep in touch . Yes since i got your pm this morning i have talked to a few ppl and i know i do have support in some areas , but like i said i would like a post put up so the clan can vote on this , that was how i was voted as second in command and i still think the clan has a voice as to what happens with it .I do know that if i do take over the clan that with what has happened with Activision and the servers lately , we need to move to a new game , and that would also be a clan vote .And question lol if this was posted yesterday , why am i just seeing this now lol , im on the forums everyday.

Been here since the beginning and it's been a fun few years. Sad to see you go Vix, Ownt was one of the more stable clans I joined over the years and was probably the best clan I've been a part of. Hopefully the clan will continue to run and I completely would trust Cap'n and Rune to do this.

Like I said on the other thread, this is sad to see happen, but it was inevitable.

I will always reflect fondly on the times we had as a clan on 1.3.. and I will always be appreciative to Vix for taking an idea I had and turning it into a reality.

I wish I could have contributed more finanically, as Vixen did, but starting a family hampers you quite a bit. We should all thank Vix for his service as Gen. and admin, as well as pretty much the sole booster behind the clan.

Hope everything is going great in your life, Vixen! Thanks for all the great times!
