Do you see that thing that says "Welcome to our little corner of the internet world!" Will if you didn't know what I was about to ask, I want to know how to do that for my own forum, Please and thank you!

Is your forum a forumotion forums like ownt?

try using code like this < marquee> message (no spaces inside <>) it works.. but it is a little jumpy i think

for some reason edit aint working but it should be

< marquee > message < /marquee>

no spaces inside <>

Yes vixen, im building a forum with forumotion I just thought id link my users to a cool little toolbar I created and well, see if they would actually download it and like it.

Also animal, how would you make it in that box like up above? So it loops the words on what ever page your on and when you click it, it goes to a downloading page?

ok in the administration panel go to General -> Configuration -> site description

type your message in the "site Description" box

it appears in the same place and all with my way xD... although with announcements you can have more than one thing said
