Assassin's Creed 2 DRM Crack

I want to buy Assassin's Creed 2 for PC, but Ubisoft's DRM thing requires you to constantly be online in order to play. Yes, it's a single-player game, but a constant internet connection to their server and the CD is required to play. If you're in the middle of a mission and your internet connection dies (as mine does a lot) you're screwed and have to restart after reconnecting to the internet.

My question is:
If I buy the game, can I crack it in order to play it offline? I want to buy this game, not download the whole thing as a torrent, but I want to play it offline. I don't want to download it simply because my internet connection is with AT&T, and they suck...

I appreciate any help on this; information, links, etc.

Thats what mass effect does, and its pretty lame
But my bro downloaded ME2 and installed a crack for it so it doesnt have constantly check th internet

I searched for these in a program that a friend of mine recommended called Vuze. I found one that had lots of good comments and I am now awaiting the completion of the download.

Ubisoft just called on the hackers and pirates when they put their game on DRM.

Well, is it a torrent tracker?
Just because it has good comments doesn't necessarily mean its good, make sure it has lots of completions AND seeders if its a torrent
Also, ISOhunt and Demonoid are trustable sights, one without government trackers or bull**** stuff from developers that just make u get pissed off
And the program I use is just uTorrent, since its simple and automatically starts seeding

this thing is like a browser made specifically for torrents. it even has its own search engine built in. check it out. just google vuze.

it says I have 42 of 639 seeds (and rising) and 28 of 741 peers (gradually rising).

Well as long as there are more seeders than leechers from inital download (You'll have to check the site u download from) because that way it wont take forever
And ill check out the vuse program, sounds sexy

Yep
Think of it as a ratio of Seeders vs Leechers
Seeders are th ppl who've finished downloading and have finished uploading data back to the tracker
Leechers are the people who are also downloading the torrent at the same tie as you
Peers are people who are downloading at the same time as you, but act as leechers as you download data from them since there percentage complete is higher than yours
The greater the ratio of seeders to Leechers = faster downloads, less hash fails (data lost) and a happier you
