mouse issue

Ok, so im going to keep this as proffessional as possible since this issue pisses me off to no end.

My mouse is being retarded, i'll move it at least a half inch across my mouse pad and the gun wont smoothly move with it, instead what it does it decides to jump to one spot, so i try moving it back, it jumps again to the spot i was before i cant precisely aim without have to strafe while im in ADS mode over my target...ive tried unplugging and replugging my mouse back in.

It is a logitech G5 gaming mouse, any suggestions will help

It may be something you typed in CoD...that happens a lot. I think that's happened to me before, but I forgot how to fix it. Ask Ani, he should know :P

Try messing around with your mouse settings ingame.

It comes and goes, when i want it to work it doesnt, like during the inclan today, but works perfectly during tdm and dm games...

Okay it's a laster mouse right? There should be a like optical/ glass indent looking thing on the bottom. The tracker, clean that. And if that doesn't work, perhaps clean the mouse pad if you have one. Cause sometimes with my mouse it'll mess up on the mouse padd till I clean it.

The_Nightmare, I have NEVER experienced that problem or solution with a lazer mouse.

DeV, use Romanian's advice. More specifically, /cl_mouseaccel 0.

Open your operating system's control pannel. Open the mouse section. Use minimum senitivity for cursor speed.
