If your resolution is 640x480, 800x600 or 1024x768 then use /m_pitch 0.0165

If your resolution is 1600x900 or 1920x1080 then use /m_pitch 0.012375

Use /cl_mouseaccel 0

Open your operating system's control pannel, open mouse control pannel, minimize cursor speed and enhance pointer percision(if available).

Adjust /sensitivity to your liking.

I suggest /sensitivity 10 as a starting point.

If 10 is too high then try 7.5

If 10 is too low then try 12.5

If 10 is much too high then try 2

If 10 is much too low then try 50

You can go down many decimals, for example: /sensitivity 9.48237

Adjust until you find a comfortable setting.

If your resolution is not listed then reply with your resolution and I'll formulate your optimal /m_pitch setting.

This is something I don't actually have to do with my mouse, it does it automatically based on the game. But good on you for helping people with this.

Pitch controls the sensitivity of only the vertical movement.

Well, it depends. Some servers on 1.5 change settings for you. To prevent your config from being changed: open call of duty folder(C:/program files/call of duty), then open main folder. config_mp.cfg is located in cod/main folder. open this, adjust every setting to your liking, save it. right click this file and set it to read-only
