| have you tried unplugging it from the surge protecter, wait a few seconds and plug it back in again? | |

| If your dad is an engineer, or someone you know is, open it up and see if a transistor is blown. Then it needs to be replaced |

| I've never heard of tujrning off a power strip would make a cable bad but it's a possibility . | |

| Subwoofer or speakers may be blown, if the subwoofer is blown the speakers won't work aswell. Try connecting your speakers directly from the tower and see if they work if so your sub is may be blown. Goodluck fixing it. | |

| OK guys heres the case.
I opened up my sub woofer like Dingo said, and I found a blown transistor.
The bad part is that the transistor was burned where the ID was of the transistor. So the only thing I know about it is. - It's an 8 lead - I see a couple letters and numbers - "TFA98" Underneath that - "Philips. N3" Underneath that... - "Hn0" then burn mark, then "Y"
Sorry for the hassle guys. I just want my speakers to work without having to buy new speakers. | |

| We just said screw it... We can't find a transistor anywhere without the rest of the letters and numbers on it. So we ebay is But now i got an extra sub woofer that I can hook up to the new one for double the orgasms. | |
